Definition of a premium spirit
Despite the lack of economic growth in the standard spirits market, premium spirit brands are growing rapidly due to a few different elements. They provide customers with affordable luxury, expand the reach of craft producers and redefine the spirits category with super-premium brands. In 2011, premium spirits sales increased by 21% in comparison to only 12% for standard spirits. The premium spirits category is defined by the IWSR if they have a retail value of $20 and above.
Premiumisation is a journey for the customer as consumers clearly want to associate themselves with the values that premium brands symbolise like success and social status. Moreover, consumers are searching for the most possible value for their purchases. To thoroughly understand what a premium spirits brand is, companies must obtain a mix of attributes as a market study by Ipsos MORI Research, 2009 found. These include having the bet taste that is worth paying for, has perfection in every detail, is a brand that excites the client and makes the consumer look and feel the best.
To define this type of alcohol, we based ourselves on prices from premium gin and vodka brands in comparison with standard ones in addition to analysing the results from our research. In general, the premium prices were between 50% and 100% higher of those of the standard spirits.
In addition to its inherent qualities, our product is put forward by its innovative packaging. Indeed, we offer a 3 in 1 bottle: 1 bottle of tequila and two bottles of distinctive and high-end juice. The goal is to mix at least one juice with the tequila to get a unique combination of flavours. To get an even tastier experience, the 3 elements can be mixed together.
We offer a brand new 100% agave-based quality tequila, produced in Mexico. This Reposado that distinguishes itself by its sophisticated and authentic taste. It is a unique premium alcohol on the Belgian market.
To complement the unique experience, we developed a dedicated glass for our spirit. It is a long shot able to contain 10 cl of liquid with 2 compartments. Thanks to that, our tequila is separated from the mixer. In that way, our spirit will stand out and not just be a lambda tequila to do cocktail.
We also produce a regular bottle for people or bars who fist want a bottle of quality tequila.
